The company has strong experience in providing consultation service (design) of wastewater treatment plants. The technologies include:
IBNR (Integrated Biological Nutrient Removal) process: it is an improvement of the conventional BNR (Biological Nutrients Removal) process by installing fiber-shape media in the bioreactors to increase the mass of activated sludge. Because of the higher biomass, the technology can handle higher organic and nutrients loads. The fiber-shape media made with nano-technology has high surface area and is easy for biofilm attached-growth.
Process and Equipment Package for the Fermentation of Primary Sludge: primary sludge from the primary sedimentation tanks contains a lot of organic materials. Through a special tank, the organic materials will be hydrolyzed into soluble organic materials and then fermented to generate volatile fatty acids (VFAs). The VFAs will function as a good carbon source for the denitrification and phosphorus removal processes, thus achieving deep removal of nitrogen and phosphorus. The process and equipment have been used widely for over 40 years in over 20 wastewater treatment plants in the North America with good environmental and economic benefits.
